Ciret’s Big Christmas Charity Support 2020

2020 has been a particularly challenging year, resulting in many people struggling with the effects of the pandemic.

We thought it might be a good idea to have a Christmas card/present amnesty this year and donate the funds to a good cause instead.

Mission Christmas

In order to help those less fortunate than ourselves, the Ciret team decided to replace the Secret Santa tradition with a small donation to Mission Christmas, which supports local families in need.

This year’s Christmas donations will be used to buy presents for children who could be waking up on Christmas Day without anything under the tree.

The response from our colleagues was amazing, resulting in a donation of £225. We truly hope that with this donation we can spread a little happiness in our community and put a smile on some children’s faces!

Ciret’s Christmas Donation

The team’s decision to replace the Secret Santa tradition and the news of our colleagues from the Storch-Ciret Group doing a similar thing across Europe, inspired our directors Glen and Phil to do the same this year.

Therefore, Ciret won’t be sending out any Christmas cards or presents to our customers but will donate the funds to three charities. To help those in need around us, we chose three local charities, supporting good causes that are dear to our hearts.

Children’s charity Naomi House & Jacksplace, mental health charity Solent Mind and animal charity The Stubbington Ark (RSPCA) will receive £1000 each for their fantastic work.

We are confident that our customers will support this great idea too.

If 2020 has taught us one thing, it is that we must work together to get through this. By supporting one another we can make the world a better place.
